Festive mood all around, energy all around. It wasn't deevali, neither holi, not even valentine's day!!!
Its Raksha Bandhan!!!
Guys with hand full of colored ropes, proudly displaying it...as if they had won an Olympic cup.A proud feeling that they own so many sisters. A few looking out with eager eyes if anyone would tie them a rakhi. There are a still few running away and girls chasing them to tie a rakhi...the most funniest thing dat happens.
And in return for a rakhi, demanding a gift is another fantasy ;) just like a dowry in a marriage!!!
The best relation a girl can have, a feelings on top of the world...when she knows she has all the protection she needs. A way to express her love and care for her brother...and inturn when brother promises it all!!!
Happy Raksha Bandhan Brothers!!!
Am already feeling on the top of the world!!!
Lucky sister i am :D

In a most festive way, girl applies tilak on the brother's forehead, ties a rakhi on the wrist of her brother, feeds him with a few sweets and in return the brother acknowledges her with a gift.
In Hindi, "Raksha" means "protection" and " Bandhan" means "Bond"; "Raksha Bandhan" a bondage of protection. A girl ties a rakhi to her brother and in return the brother bestows blessings on his sister and a promise to protect her dignity, protect her from all the problems and difficulties.
Its become a fantasy that girl ties a rakhi, the guy becomes a brother. This festive is no relation making, like tying a marriage knot around a girl's neck and she becomes a wife. Rakhi is a bond so sacred that promises protection and honor.
